Press Conference to Announce Formation of National Coalition for Cheap & Reliable Access to Space (CATS)
Nyack, NY, July 16, 2008 – A broad array of not-for-profit organizations will announce the creation of a National Coalition for Cheap and reliable Access to Space (CATS) on July 17th at the NewSpace 2008 Conference. The Coalition will sponsor a National Summit on CATS in the battleground state of Ohio on October 7th & 8th, one month before the presidential election, and will deliver a Declaration for CATS to the next President of the United States.

Foundation Mourns Passing of Space Visionary – Sir Arthur C. Clarke's Lasting Legacy to be Celebrated July 19th at the Foundation's Annual Conference
Nyack, NY, March 21, 2008 – Science and science fiction alike lost a legend this past week with the passing of Sir Arthur C. Clarke. Credited with introducing the concept of communications satellites in 1945, Clarke also wrote more than 30 non-fiction works and dozens of short stories and novels. Although most remembered as the co-author of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clarke was a staunch advocate of personal space flight.
